Farmington Holly Days
Holly Days has been a tradition in Farmington for many years. It started as Santa in a cardboard castle and has evolved into a wonderful day of shopping at Downtown Farmington stores and the Farmington Farmers & Artisans Market – Greens, Gifts and Giving. Victorian carolers, hot cocoa and chili will keep shoppers warm along with the heat from wood-burning fire pits dotted around Riley Park and the Sundquist Pavilion. Focal Point Studio of Photography graciously photographs children with Santa free of charge! At Great Lakes Ace Hardware in Farmington, you'll find The Elves Workshop, which hosts a holiday craft for children and stories with Mrs. Claus, keep the little ones excited for the season.
The Farmington Civic Theater will show free holiday movies, with a donation to the Farmington Area Goodfellows in the form of a new toy, batteries, new book, non-perishable boxed/canned food items (expiration 2019) or a cash donation.
Light Up the Grand Parade is a community favorite which concludes at the Governor Warner Mansion for the annual Tree Lighting, sponsored by Consumers Energy with the Farmington Community Choir leading carols and Fresh Thyme will be providing refreshments! This is truly the feel-good event for the greater Farmington area!
